Last week I went to
look for African printed fabric for the weekend wedding invite that the
boyfriend and I got from his colleague.
So we took to our
heels and headed straight to the woodin shop at Accra mall.
The woodin shop is
just at the entrance, and the colours of fabrics are so attractive that it’s
almost impossible to just walk past the shop.
They sell their
fabrics based on the number of yards you need, the most being 6 yards and the least, 1 yard
.
Based on their ads, my
take is that their target market is for the young vibrant youth,
who love to be chic
and stylish.
But really, I think I
would not mind buying my mum a fabric from this shop when going back to 254.I
think she would love them.
Their display of the products is very neat and well arranged so one is able to locate what they need quick and the attendants there are ever so helpful.
Since I visited the shop today, I realised that they had brought in new stock which was highly characterised by lots of orange and blue.So if you have been looking for cloth with this two colours,,
race you to the till!!
If you ever visit Ghana, and you want fabric, just think Woodin.
You will not be disappointed.
I will post pictures of what I bought myself later.
If you want to check out fabric varieties, view their website here
